The chemical industry is responsible for converting raw materials (oil, natural gas, air, water, metals, and minerals) into more than 70,000 different products such as household and industrial cleaners, polymers, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals to name a few.

The processes used to manufacture everyday chemicals require cables that are not only flexible, but are resistant to oils, fats, acids, bases and other harsh materials. Our cables are well suited to work under these adverse working conditions in order to maintain a consistent workflow.

Instrumentation cables are used wherever processes need to be controlled and monitored sincethey transmit measurement data on temperature, pressure or flow rate, for example, and are used to control valves, temperature regulators and pilot lamps. Especially in facilities such as refineries or chemical plants, the distances between the control room and the component to be controlled (such as a valve, control lamp or sensor) can be very long.

With the addition of four new instrumentation and thermocouple extension cables product groups, customers in the oil and gas, as well as pharmaceutical and chemical industries can be assured that data signals will be transmitted reliably and error-free even over long distances.
